Project Overview

Tech Innovations UK's Cambridge office building needed a dual-purpose solution: renewable energy generation and improved employee comfort. We designed an innovative solar canopy system that provides both. The 35.2kW array of 88 panels is mounted as a canopy structure over the parking area, providing shade for vehicles while generating clean energy. This creative design maximizes the use of available space and creates an additional amenity for the company. The system generates around 45,000 kWh annually, saving approximately £6,100 per year. Beyond the financial benefits, the solar canopy has become a symbol of the company's technological innovation and environmental commitment, enhancing their brand image with clients and employees.
